Let creativity take flight in this fun-filled kids’ pottery class with Clay Habit!
Perfect for children aged 6 and up, this hands-on workshop guides young artists through making their very own bird planter from a clay slab. Kids will shape and sculpt their feathered friend, adding fun details and hand-rolled coils for legs to bring their creation to life.
Children will use carving and texturing techniques to decorate their bird planter, adding unique patterns and features directly into the clay surface. After the session, the Clay Habit team will dry and fire the pieces in a kiln. Finished planters—each including a real succulent—will be ready to collect from Dalwallinu approximately two weeks later. A great introduction to clay work, this class encourages imagination and hands-on fun in a relaxed, supportive environment—no prior experience needed!
